20 Years Strong

A Legacy of Help and Hope

Since the 2004 tsunami, our donors and volunteers have transformed countless lives in Sri Lanka. Building homes for families lacking basic shelter, funding scholarships for university students, helping several hundred others with education skills development, and providing employment opportunities to ensure stable family incomes. TRIP Canada has made a profound impact since 2005 creating A Legacy of Help and Hope for many people.

For our 20th anniversary, we are more committed than ever to our mission and to expanding our outreach. We are setting ambitious targets for 2025 to increase our impact by 20% through:

20 Years Strong – 20 Life Changing Projects

  • Build 5 new family homes

  • Initiate 5 new community projects

  • Award 10 new scholarship students

  • Grow other education and employment

20 Percent Increase in 2025 Fundraising Target

  • Raising Help and Hope in 2025

  • $70,000 fundraising goal to enable growth

20 Years Strong – 20+ Volunteers
