David Myer volunteered with Team #1 and formed a lifelong friendship with Vijay. He returned to Sri Lanka with his daughter Dani in 2013 and reunited with Vijay and his granddaughter. David has worked hard on two more trips introducing his other daughter Mackenzie and wife Laurie to the rewards of volunteering. David shares: “TRIP also reinforces that we lead very privileged lives in Canada and it showed my daughters how important it is to share with those less fortunate at home and abroad.”
