Madhusanka

When we first met Madhusanka in 2009 he was a passionate, determined young man who dreamed of becoming a doctor "to help people and make them recover". His father passed away and even with the help of two uncles, his mother could only manage to support his three siblings.

Volunteer Hilary Bruun stepped in and sponsored him throughout his medical studies. He recently shared: "Thank you for your kindness and support. I am grateful for your helping hand enabling me to pursue my dreams of becoming a medical officer. I am now happily married and blessed with two daughters. Your assistance has not only impacted my life but has also contributed to the well-being and future prospects of my family. For that, I am incredibly grateful.”
