O Canada

The intention of our 20th anniversary stories is to share the longstanding and ongoing ongoing impact that TRIP Canada’s volunteers and donors have in our Sri Lankan community. In celebration of FLAG DAY, we are proud to share how this Canadian symbol travels with us every year representing all that is great about our country.

The flag flies at our worksites. Volunteers wear it on their t-shirts. Kids love to wave them, keeping them year-to-year. It stands beside the Sri Lankan flag at all our ceremonies. It is a symbol of the kindness of Canadians and their caring for those who are less fortunate.
